Hey guys it's IK here. Gobble gobble. I is a turkey yet again.
I, surprise surprise, don't have school today alongside the other 5. ST and LI are doing a 1000 piece puzzle because of a proposition I made with our English teacher. I'd tell you the story behind it but I'd probably end up really frustrated at the end so I think it's safer if ST tells you story later on. To thank them for helping me defeat our teacher, I'm baking chocolate and vanilla swirl cake and then I'll later on carry on reading Great Expectations by Charles Dickens (amazing novel, people).
Anywho, Fools is out. I have been waiting for so long in IK time for the second part of the Blue Neighbourhood trilogy video. In Wild the atmosphere you could say is more childish whereas Fools is um... more mature perhaps. The video shows how the main character's childhood love is facing domestic abuse and has to sacrifice his relationship with Troye to keep him. If you've watched this video then near the end you must've heard "if he's back here one more time, I'll kill both of ya" which just shows how homophobic the childhood lover's father is. Sorry for the random names, I honestly don't know what the other guy's name is. My apologies.
It was more of an emotional video than Wild because of it shows that love can destroy. To protect and simply just follow his dad's orders, the other guy tries his hands in a relationship with a girl much to Troye's dismay when he witnesses this first hand. Homophobia is still quite large even in the society we have today. Yes, we've come very far from where we first began but we still have a long way to go. Whether you're gay, straight, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual or transgender you're still human and you're still included in human rights. Everyone has the right to equality no matter what your sexuality is. You're still a person with feelings. Please be aware of this, everyone. I have faith in our readers that they're accepting people and all 6 of us love all of you no matter what race, gender, religion or sexuality you guys are.
At the end of Fools, Troye shows a little snippet of the finally of Blue Neighbourhood which we have come to believe will be Talk Me Down, and I absolutely adore the chorus (the only part available to listen to from the song at the moment). ST, FAJ and I were talking about this yesterday at school at like 6:30 pm (we were helping out for open evening where primary school kids come to see if they'd like to come to our secondary school- we helped out in the library) and thought that either the lover committed suicide because he couldn't love Troye or he was abused to death or maybe the dad died (a bit unlikely but anything goes).
All of us are anticipating the finale of the trilogy and I hope hope hope they get the a good ending to their lives but considering the fact that the last one features a funeral I highly doubt that it'll have a happy ending. One can only hope.
If you haven't watched Fools yet the video is down below. Watch Wild first if you haven't.
