Festivities Season

Hey guys it's IK here. It's been a long time, maties. I've been busy stressing about sixth forms and colleges and GCSEs and all that other stuff, but I'm back!

I read ST's little story and damn it's good. WELL DONE, S. Oh, and happy belated Halloween everyone.

Anywho, we're approaching quite a few annual festivities soon. On the 5th of November it's Guy Fawkes day - Bonfire Night - and it's only celebrated in the UK since Guy Fawkes was an English man and the event only occurred in the UK. In London - as fas as I'm concerned - people usually start their own little firework displays a week or two before the actual night which is frustrating because people, i.e moi, need their sleep because people, i.e me again, need to go to school to get an education! On the actual night the council I believe - not sure - organises a massive bonfire night for the whole community and everyone gathers in the extensive fields we have to look at the firework displays and they are beautiful.

On the 26th of November it's Thanksgiving I believe and we don't celebrate that in England since it's more of an American thing to do. Happy Thanksgiving to all you guys who will be celebrating this festive occasion :D.

What else is there? Oh, yes very important. Remembrance Day is rapidly approaching and I always love this occasion since we learn more about the war and I get to wear a poppy in remembrance of the heroes who sacrificed their lives to provide a brighter future for us. Thank you. I always end up going through about ten poppies in a time span of a week since I always end up ripping them or putting way too many holes in them with the needle needed to attach it to your upper body garment.

Next it's CHRISTMAS! I love the films that come out during Christmas time. Home Alone, am I right? I'm not a Christian so I don't celebrate Christmas but that doesn't stop me from giving or receiving presents. We play Secret Santa at our school and it's awesome because no one knows who got who and the presents we get from our classmates are actually pretty good. I spend the most of money in December, people, first it's SK and LI's birthdays and then it's present shopping and then it's chocolate shopping for myself because why not, and then there's buying new jumpers because they look awesome, and then buying a new coat because again why not? I honestly do love Christmas season.

NEW YEAR! It's only in a two months and damn 2015 went fast, like I was born yesterday so how did I turn 14 in a blink of an eye. I swear it's like I blinked on the first of January and now we're in November. New Year's fireworks though ;D AMAZING! I'll upload a picture of the fireworks here in the UK. Fun fact: The first person I talked to in 2015 was ST because we were talking prior to the countdown and then we started counting down ourselves. *claps happily*

And that's it for today guys. I sacrificed homework time because I felt like I needed to do a post.

- IK ;D
