Hi, it's ST
Today is the 22/12/2014
Well at least that what it says on the date under the time in the bottom right of my screen...
That means we are three days away from a very festive holiday
Yes folks, I'm talking about Christmas.
I am Muslim, and I don't celebrate Christmas, although some do, I just... I just don't.
However I cannot say I hate the festival because at this time of year everything is just so happy.
And I live in London so the streets have very many Christmas lights. I particularly like the ones in Oxford Street or Bonds Street. Though according to SK they are crap this year... I'll be the judge of that.
These are what they generally look like:
Plus there are a ton of great Christmas movies on tele, but that's beside the point. (Marvel's Avengers Assemble is on at 8.30, Boxing Day, can't wait!(:)
One of my favourite things about the end of the year is the New Years Eve show on BBC 1. Last year it was hosted by Gary Barlow, who was an excellent host by the way.
Me and a friend from school stayed up till the end of the show just dming each other on twitter. That was actually how we became friends.
All our other friends had gone to sleep. IK, LI, and SP all said they would stay up, but none of them did. Lazy shi-
Okay then, carrying on.
Her friends had gone to sleep to. The show ended at 2:00 in the morning and my dad had come downstairs and began to shout at me.
And then of course there is the New Years fireworks which I love. Doesn't everyone? Last year SK went and watched it. I find it funny how each country try do out do each other. Last year, apparently they were going to let of scents, that you could taste. SK said that flopped.
I just love winter, perhaps because I'm a winter baby. I don't know. I just hope it snows this year because though it snowed last year, it didn't settle, and if it did people put stupid grit over the top of it.
Anyway
